Reorder-point and days-of-stock analytics computed from real warehouse quantities, sales velocity and trend acceleration — so replenishment decisions stop being guesswork.
What it does
- "Days of stock left" estimate per SKU from real warehouse quantity + recent sales velocity
- Reorder-point suggestions that respect current demand-trend signals (rising categories reorder earlier)
- Stock-risk board: items flagged critical / watch / healthy, sorted by financial exposure
What it runs on — the data, honestly
First release uses the real inventory dataset already live in the platform (warehouse quantities, cost/sale prices, stock-risk classification) plus the live category trend signal.
Honest status
Early versions estimate velocity from current snapshot data. Fine-grained seasonal forecasting needs price/stock history, which starts accumulating with our snapshot log (Phase 1) — we say so instead of pretending.
